The coronavirus really shocked the world and has put many of us out of a job or working from home. It is not abnormal to start feeling complacent after spending months at home. While the conditions are not ideal, don’t give up hope! There is so much to do at home, some things you may never thought of. We have put together a list of things to do at home to shrug off that depressing complacent feeling.

As we are encouraged to remain indoors, self-quarantining to “flatten the curve”, some people find it difficult to adapt to such a drastic change in our daily lives.
So what can you do to keep yourself entertained and busy?
-Start a workout routine
This may be one of the best things to do during quarantine. If you’re somebody who has put off ever really starting a workout routine then now is the time! If you already have gym equipment at your home, you’re all set and if you don’t, no need to worry. There are plenty of ways to workout without using weights or gym equipment!
-Start a puzzle
Puzzles are a great way to get your mind going and pass time.
-Do a Masterclass
While this requires spending money, there are many masterclasses where you can learn some pretty neat things from the best of the best. Check it out!
-Rearrange your house
If you’re really getting bored rearrange the furniture and other things in your house and find out if you can discover a better set up! Who knows?
-Try to learn another language
Give it a shot! You never know, you may be fluently speaking another language in no time!
-Pick up an instrument
Even if playing instruments isn’t your thing it can’t hurt to get a cheap guitar or drum set and learn how to rock out! 🤘
-Reconnect with old friends and family
Think about people you care about and give them a call! There’s nothing better than a good chat with friends and family.
-Deep dive into cooking
There couldn’t be a better time to experiment with delicious recipes you’ve always wanted to try out.
-Movies and TV
Obviously a lot of us are binge-watching television shows and movies. This is a good way to pass time but there is so much more you can do!
-Draw and Paint
Spend time and express your creative side by drawing and or painting your own masterpiece!
-Fix the things in your house that need maintenance
No excuses now! It’s time to take care of your home and fix anything you have been putting off.
-Start a journal
It never hurts to put your thoughts down on paper and can be very therapeutic!
-Get your budgeting right
Take time to make sure that you are effectively budgeting your lifestyle.
-Create a scrapbook
It is time to pull out all the old family and friends photos! Relive great memories by making a scrapbook.
